LaTeX compiling error

If you are compiling a LaTeX document, and you get the following error:

! I can't find file `ptmr7t'

Here you have the solution:

sudo apt-get install texlive-fonts-recommended

Fix @ (at) character problem with Ubuntu in Macbook

If you can't write the @ character in Ubuntu, you should do this:

1. System > Preferences > Keyboard
2. Go to Keyboard Distribution label
3. Click Options
4. Look for something like "Key to access the third level" (sorry, my Ubuntu is Spanish ;-)
5. Select the key you are used to use when typing the @ symbol (I selected the "Alt" key)

1. menú Sistema > preferencias > teclado
2. en la pestaña "Teclas del ratón" desactivamos la opción "Permitir controlar el puntero usando el teclado".

Linux: reproducir mp3 en Amarok

Para habilitar la capacidad de reproducir archivos MP3 en Amarok:

1-Instalar los siguientes paquetes :

sudo apt-get install libmad0 libxine1 gstreamer0.8-mad

2- Utilizar como Engine en las opciones de Amarok la opción "xine engine"

En el caso de que siga sin funcionar, a continuación hay que hacer:

sudo apt-get install libxine-extracodecs
